The ISO 45001:2014 accreditation ensures that the company establishes a system in the company premises that is helpful in preventing injuries and contributes to the well being of the employees. Through the occupational health and safety management system explained in the standard, it is possible to provide best level of safety to the workers and employees in the office. The ISO 45001:2014 Certification requirements do not specify any special criteria for maintaining the level of safety in the company premises. Also it does not specify any specific design for the OH & S management system. The ISO 45001:2014 Certification process involves the company to comply with its own needs for establishment of safety and well being of the workers and preventing injuries.

The standard requires that company must focus on the fact that the workers should also participate in maintaining the best level of safety. The workers must be trained and educated about the risks that are involved at workplace and how to prevent.
